Understanding Engagements

Engagements are a way to activate your advocates across campaigns. They help you gather feedback, encourage participation, and create meaningful experiences for your users. Engagements can take many forms, be gamified with incentives, and delivered through multiple models.

Engagement Types

Choose the type of engagement that fits your campaign goals:

  • Social Post – Encourage advocates to share content on social media.

  • Submit Media – Allow advocates to submit images, documents, or other media.

  • Submit Review – Collect written feedback or product reviews from advocates.

  • Complete Survey – Gather structured insights through surveys.

  • Record Video – Capture authentic video testimonials from advocates.

  • Be a Reference – Enable advocates to act as references for potential customers.

  • Send an Update – Share updates or news with advocates.

  • Custom Task – Create tailored tasks for specific campaign needs.

Gamifying Engagements

Increase participation by adding incentives:

  • Exclusive experiences (VIP events, early access, etc.)

  • B2B loyalty programs

Delivering Engagements

Engagements can be delivered through multiple models:

  • Embedded Advocacy – Send advocates a direct link to engage with content or complete a task.

  • Hub-Based Model – Centralize all engagements in a single advocate hub.

  • Embedding into Existing Communities – Integrate engagement functionality directly into your current community platforms.
