Why Segments Matter
Segments address a key challenge in advocacy programs: nurturing advocates along a structured path instead of constantly requesting one-off activities. By grouping advocates strategically, you can provide targeted experiences that align with their interests, engagement level, and program lifecycle.
How Segments Can Be Used
Create Unique Experiences – Design campaigns or missions that match the attributes or actions of each segment.
Group Advocates for Specific Initiatives – For example, hand-raisers for video testimonials can be placed in a dedicated segment to streamline recruitment and communications.
Lifecycle Advocacy Paths – Advocates can move in and out of segments automatically based on external data, creating a dynamic progression through your advocacy program.
