Branded Domains for Survey Emails

To enhance deliverability and reach more recipients, Branded Domains are required for all survey emails sent from UserEvidence.

Why Branded Domains Matter

Implementing Branded Domains is essential for protecting email reputation — not only for UserEvidence but for all our customers. When emails are sent from a shared domain, there is a risk that the actions of one sender could affect the deliverability of others. By using your own domain for sending emails, we minimize this risk, improve inbox placement, and help maintain trust with email providers — making it more likely that your surveys will successfully reach your audience.

This setup won’t interfere with your current email infrastructure. The DNS records we add will only apply to a unique subdomain, ensuring that your existing records remain unaffected.

From a best practices perspective, we continue to cover all necessary deliverability measures, including setting up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, as well as ensuring that every email contains an unsubscribe link to remain compliant.

  • Before implementing Branded Domains, all survey emails sent from UserEvidence will display the default domain:

    [email protected]

  • After implementing Branded Domains, the survey email will display your custom domain, providing recipients with a more familiar experience:

    [email protected]

Setup Instructions

  1. The UserEvidence team will provide you with the necessary DNS records.

  2. Share the DNS records with your IT team.

TIP: The records include setup instructions for your IT team, which you can also view here.

  3. Once your IT team confirms that the records have been added, please notify us so we can verify the setup.

Branded Domains apply only when survey emails are sent directly from the UserEvidence platform. If you primarily use a third-party email service provider or another method to send your survey emails, you can disregard this feature.
