Sending Emails to Survey Recipients

  1. Access the Surveys tab and select the survey you're working on.

  2. Click the Share Settings tab.

  3. Select + Add Email in the lower right corner of the Email Campaigns box to add an email to your campaign, or select Add starter email campaign with default emails in the center of the box to use our pre-built campaign copy instead.

  4. When you add an email, you'll be asked to choose a delivery date and time — this can be changed later, before the survey is published.

Important: Send times are based on the time zone of the user scheduling the email. For example, if the scheduler is based in New York City, the send time is stored in EDT (UTC-4). The UI will confirm this at the time of scheduling.

  5. If you're creating your own emails rather than using the default, add your subject line and email copy by typing into each text box — UserEvidence will autosave your details automatically.

To send a preview to your team, add their email addresses (comma-separated) in the Share Email Preview box, located just below the Email Content editor.

  6. You can adjust the send date and time anytime before publishing the survey by selecting the options beneath the Date and Time dropdown menus in the email you're scheduling. Send times must be on the quarter-hour (:00, :15, :30, or :45) and scheduled at least 15 minutes from the present time.

  7. To delete an email or campaign, select the trash icon in the top-right corner of that email or campaign's box.

  8. Once you're satisfied with your survey questions, email copy, and recipient list, select Publish Survey in the top-right corner of the survey editor to finalize your campaign schedule.

A prompt will appear summarizing your campaign, including each email's scheduled date and time. If you'd like to make changes before publishing, select Cancel to return to the editor. Once you select Publish & send campaigns, each email will move to a Scheduled state.
