Sending Assets to Highspot
When assets are sent from UserEvidence, both the file and key metadata are transferred to Highspot, making them searchable and filterable for your team.
Data Included:
Asset file or image
Custom classifiers (mapped as lists)
Tags (mapped as lists)
You can send assets to Highspot in several ways:
Automatic Sync → Auto-sync new assets that meet your defined criteria
Bulk Actions → Auto-sync all existing assets that meet your defined criteria
Manual Send (Single Asset) → Sync an asset directly from its page
Automatic Sync & Bulk Actions
With Automatic Sync, new assets that meet your criteria are synced automatically as they are created. Bulk Actions lets you sync all existing assets that meet the same criteria at once. Both methods use the same ruleset, which you can update at any time. To define or modify your ruleset:
Access the Integrations Settings menu by clicking your initials in the top-right corner of the screen and selecting Integrations from the dropdown.
Click the Highspot tab and scroll to Highspot Connection Status to select the default Spot where assets should be sent. This can be changed at any time.
Define the ruleset that determines when assets should be sent to Highspot:
When set to public – requires an asset to be public.
When tag is added – select a tag and target Highspot list.
When classifier is added – select a classifier, classifier value, and target Highspot list.
To complete your configuration, select Add Tag / Classifier. For Bulk Actions, once you’re ready to sync existing assets, select Sync All at the bottom of the screen.
Automatic Sync and Bulk Actions can only send assets to a single Spot within Highspot. You can change this default Spot in the Highspot Integration settings under Highspot Connection Status.
Manual Asset Sync
Send a single asset to your Highspot library.
Access the Assets tab at the top of the screen.
Select your target asset.
Click Actions in the top-right corner of the asset view and choose Send to Highspot from the dropdown.
A window will open prompting you to choose the Spot and List(s) to send the asset to in Highspot. You can select multiple lists.
Once your selections are confirmed, click Yes.
Updating and Deleting Assets
When an asset is updated in UserEvidence, a re-sync automatically updates the corresponding file and metadata in Highspot. After editing, a small toast message will appear indicating that the asset update is queued.
When an asset is deleted in UserEvidence, it will also be removed from Highspot. Before deletion, a confirmation modal will appear to inform you that the asset is synced with Highspot.
