Slack Integration: Search UserEvidence Assets

Search for UserEvidence content assets directly within your Slack workspace

Connecting Slack with UserEvidence

  1. Access the Account Settings menu by clicking your initials in the top-right corner of the screen and selecting Account from the dropdown.

  2. Click the Slack tab, then choose Connect Your Account to Slack.
    – You’ll be redirected to Slack.

    • TIP: Only one user per UserEvidence account needs to complete this for the Slack integration to work.

  3. When redirected to Slack, click Allow to complete your team’s integration with UserEvidence.

Searching for Assets from a Channel or Direct Message

You can search for assets in Slack using one of two methods:

Method 1: Natural Language Search

In any Slack channel or direct message, type /userevidence followed by your search query and press Enter. Results matching your query will appear.


Method 2: Search Modal

In any Slack channel or direct message, type /userevidence search and press Enter.
A search modal will appear, where you can use filters to narrow your search by Keyword, Tags, Industry, Company Size, Seniority, or Recipient Role.​

Reviewing and Sharing Assets

  1. Review the search results, then click the More options (…) button.

  2. Select Details to view a preview of the asset before taking further action.

  3. From this menu, you have two options:

    • View in UserEvidence app: Opens the asset in UserEvidence while signed in

    • Share in Slack: Select a teammate or Slack channel from the dropdown to send the asset.
