Setting Up Single Sign-On (SSO) with UserEvidence

Integrating UserEvidence with your identity provider makes logging in simple and secure for your team.

How to set it up

  1. An admin opens Account SettingsSSO.

  2. Click Set up single sign-on to get a secure setup link.

  3. Follow the guided wizard to pick your company's login system — Okta, Microsoft, Google, or another provider — and enter its details.

  4. Finish the wizard, and SSO will be enabled automatically.

The setup link is valid for 5 days and can be opened up to 10 times. Once you open the link, you'll have 5 hours to complete the setup process. If the link expires before you're finished, simply generate a new one. Your progress will be preserved, allowing you to continue where you left off.

Once SSO is enabled

Your team can sign in with their company login instead of a UserEvidence password. Depending on your login system, that means either a UserEvidence tile on your company dashboard or a bookmarked link to your UserEvidence login — either way, it's one click to get in.

The SSO tab in Account Settings always shows where things stand: not set up yet, setup started but unfinished, or connected and active.
