Analytics is in beta. We're improving it every week, and your feedback shapes what we build next. Something missing, confusing, or not adding up? Tell your UE Advocacy contact or your Customer Success Manager. Feature requests are welcome.
Getting Started
Analytics shows how your advocacy program is doing: who joined, what they did, which references got filled, and how your community is growing. It replaces the old reports page. You'll find it at the top of the sidebar, with two pages:
Analytics > Dashboards
Ready-made dashboards. A point-in-time view of your program for the dates you pick. Same layout for every customer, kept up to date by us. Includes Ask AI.
Analytics > Reporting
Your custom reports. Build your own charts and dashboards from your data, and save them for your team.
The Dashboards page has three parts:
The tab row. Each tab is a ready-made dashboard for one part of your program.
The date range at the top. It applies to every tab.
Ask AI, the last tab, for questions the ready-made dashboards don't answer.
Analytics › Dashboards, open on Overview. Screenshots in this guide show our demo program.
Hover the ⓘ next to any chart title to see exactly what it counts.
Date range and filters
Date range
Pick a range at the top of the page: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, This quarter, Last 12 months, or Custom. The tab you are on updates right away, and the range carries over when you switch tabs.
Some charts ignore the date range on purpose. Snapshots of "right now" (like advocates per level, advocate scores, or members per space) always show today. Charts titled "last 12 months" always show the last 12 months. The ⓘ on each chart says which kind it is.
Advocate field and Value
On Overview, References and Program you can narrow every chart to one group of advocates. Choose an Advocate field (for example Region or Industry), then a Value (for example EMEA). Clear both to see everyone again.
Top right of the page: date range, Advocate field, and Value.
Dashboard tabs
Every tab only shows your own program's data. Removed and banned advocates are never counted. Staff and test accounts are left out of "top advocate" lists.

CHART | WHAT IT SHOWS |
Engagements done | Approved mission submissions and logged activities in the date range. Pending, rejected and draft submissions don't count. |
Active advocates | Advocates with at least one approved submission or logged activity in the date range. Each person counts once. |
References done | Reference requests made in the date range that were completed: a call completed, a reference completed, or a form submitted. |
Deals touched | Deals that had at least one reference request in the date range. A deal with several requests counts once. |
Engagements per week | Approved engagements by the week they were made. |
Top advocates | The 5 advocates with the most approved engagements in the date range. |
References
How reference requests move: how many came in, how many got filled, where open ones are stuck, and why some were canceled.
References: requests, fill rate, days to fill, and where requests are stuck.
CHART | WHAT IT SHOWS |
Requests | Every reference request made in the date range, canceled ones included. |
Filled | Requests that were completed, and what share of all requests that is. Still-open requests are part of the total, so a recent range looks lower until they finish. |
Still open | Requests still finding an advocate, waiting on times, or with a call booked. "Stuck 7+ days" counts the ones older than a week. |
Where open requests are stuck | Open requests by stage, so you can see the bottleneck. |
Days to fill | Average calendar days (weekends included) from request to completion. |
By reference type | Requests per type, how many were filled, and the average days to fill. |
Why requests were canceled | Canceled requests by the reason given. Requests with no reason are left out. |
Unmatched requests | Requests canceled because no advocate matched. "What unmatched requests asked for" shows the business units and markets they wanted, so you know where to recruit. |
Asked most often | The 5 advocates on the most requests, backups included. Use it to spot who might be getting tired. |
Willing references | Advocates opted in to give references today. |
Signed up / Reference sign-ups by month | People who signed up to give references, by form or by import. |
Requests tied to a deal | One row per request linked to a deal, with its stage, amount, close date and outcome. Amounts are shown in their own currency and never added together. |
Program
Missions, rewards, levels, badges, surveys and applications. Use it to see what advocates are doing and what keeps them coming back.
Program: missions, points, rewards, who went quiet, and advocate scores.
CHART | WHAT IT SHOWS |
Missions done | Approved submissions and logged activities in the date range. |
Points awarded | Points from approved submissions in the date range. |
Rewards redeemed | Rewards advocates bought with points in the date range. |
Advocate scores | Advocates by their latest score: Low (under 40), Medium, or High (80 and up). |
Top missions | The 5 missions with the most approved submissions. |
Went quiet | Advocates who have done something before but nothing in the last 60 days. A good list for a re-engagement email. |
Average NPS answer | The average 0 to 10 answer to NPS questions. This is an average answer, not an NPS score. |
Applications | Applications to join in the date range: approved, declined and pending. |
Referrals submitted | Referral mission submissions at any review status except draft. |
Survey answers by question | The 20 questions with the most answers, with the average for rating questions. Free-text answers aren't shown. |
Advocates per level | How many advocates are on each level of your points ladder, matching the Levels tab. Every level shows, even one nobody is on yet. |
Badges earned (top 10) | The 10 badges earned most often in the date range. |
Community
Activity in your community spaces: posts, replies, and which spaces need attention.
Community: first actions, how members move up, posts and replies.
CHART | WHAT IT SHOWS |
Days to first action | Average days from joining to a member's first submission, for members who joined in the date range. |
How members move up | All members, then "Did 1 thing" (at least one submission), then "Reference ready" (opted in to references). |
Members in spaces | Members in at least one community space. |
Posts / Comments | Posts and comments made in the date range, with weekly charts. |
Posts with no reply | Posts that nobody has answered yet, and their share of all posts. |
Time to first reply | Average hours from a post to its first comment. |
Posts waiting for a reply | Up to 10 unanswered posts, oldest first. Your to-do list. |
Most active members | The 5 members with the most posts. |
Top posts | The 5 posts with the most comments, with their likes. |
Quiet spaces | The 10 spaces that have gone longest without a post. |
Revenue, Coverage and Retention
These tabs show a lock until they are ready for your program.
TAB | WHAT IT SHOWS | WHEN IT OPENS |
Revenue | Won revenue, open pipeline and average deal size for deals with a completed reference call, plus your top won deals. | After you connect Salesforce and we check your numbers. |
Coverage | Which accounts have advocates, by industry, company size and region, and which accounts rely on just one advocate. | When your advocate records hold account details. Ask us. |
Retention | How advocacy relates to renewals. | Coming soon. |
Ask AI
Ask Evi, our AI assistant, a question in plain words and get a chart or table back. Evi reads the same data as the dashboards.
Questions that work well:
Who are my top reference advocates this quarter?
How many advocates joined each month this year?
Which missions had the most approved submissions last quarter?
List advocates in EMEA who haven't submitted anything in 90 days.
How many advocates are on each level, including levels with no one on them?
Ask AI opens a chat with Evi.
Like the answer? Ask Evi to save it as a dashboard, or to add it to one you already have.
Reporting: Custom Reports
Analytics > Reporting
Reporting is your reports folder, where you make your own charts and dashboards. Anything you make here is shared with the other admins on your account. Reports saved from Ask AI land here too.
Open Analytics › Reporting and click New.
Pick a topic, like Advocates, Mission Submissions, Levels or Reference Requests.
Click fields on the left to add them. Measures (counts and totals) become the numbers. Dimensions (names, dates, levels) become the rows.
Add filters at the top, then pick a chart type.
Save it, and add it to a dashboard if you want to see it next to other charts.
Your reports folder. Click New to start a report.
You can't change the ready-made dashboards. Overview, References, Program and Community are the same for every customer, and we keep them up to date. To change one, rebuild the chart you want in Reporting, or ask Evi for it.
Download, alerts and schedules
Hover any chart and click the ⋮ menu in its top-right corner.
Download: Save the chart's data as a CSV or spreadsheet, or the chart as an image or PDF.
Alert: Get an email when a number crosses a line you set, like "Still open goes above 10".
Schedule delivery: Email the chart to yourself or your team every day, week or month.
Refresh w/o cache: Reload the chart with the very latest data. Charts normally refresh on their own.

Common questions
Why doesn't a number match another page?
Why doesn't a number match another page?
Check the date range first. Most charts only count things created in the selected range, while list pages in the app usually show everything. Analytics also leaves out removed advocates, banned advocates and staff accounts.
Why is a level, badge or space missing from a chart?
Why is a level, badge or space missing from a chart?
Advocates per level now shows every level, even with no one on it. Other charts only list what has activity, so a badge nobody earned in the range won't appear. Use Reporting or Ask AI to list everything.
Why are submissions dated by when they were started?
Why are submissions dated by when they were started?
We don't store the day a submission was approved, so approved submissions are counted on the day they were started.
How fresh is the data?
