Create Testimonials by Hand

Previously, adding a testimonial required batching quotes into a spreadsheet and going through an import flow — even for a single quote. Now you can create a testimonial on the spot, and have it live and searchable across the platform in under a minute.

How to Use It

  1. Go to your Asset Library and click Create Asset → Testimonial.

  2. Fill in the quote, attribution (person, company, and title), and any relevant classifiers.

  3. Click Publish Asset to Library. The testimonial is immediately live and searchable.

Example Use Cases

  • A CSM hears a great quote on a customer call and adds it to UserEvidence before the call even ends.

  • A marketer spots a glowing LinkedIn comment and captures it before it gets buried.

  • A sales rep forwards a positive customer email — the CSM turns it into a published testimonial the same day.

Good to Know

  • Manually created testimonials behave exactly like imported ones — they're fully searchable and usable in Proof Pages, recommendations, and Slack.

  • Only the quote and attributed person are required. All other fields are optional.

  • This feature is designed for adding testimonials one at a time. If you have 50 or more testimonials to add at once, CSV import is still the recommended approach.
